Love find ways itself

Aroma of Fresh flowers in the air, beautiful lighting, people in ethnic Indian attire, Yes, it’s a traditional Indian wedding function.

Everyone is enjoying the function but not more than shanvi and her cousins. It’s the weeding of one of their cousin and they all are enjoying the hell out of it. Their dance performances, laughter, playing tricks, everything is attracting everyone in the wedding. No one can guess exact age of anyone in the group of cousins as they all look same of their age. But the elder one is shanvi and next turn of getting married would be hers. Everyone is quite exited for her marriage except her as she is still waiting for love. 

Dr.Shanvi ,  27 years old girl , fun-loving, introvert, pet lover, down-to-earth, and everyone’s favorite. There is nothing about her that a person will not like, still she is single yet. According to her, love is natural and no one can force her to fall in love with anyone. She has rejected many boys who wanted to marry her because of her stats or in the pressure of parents. She is very close to her cousins and they all understand her thoughts and support her.

Everyone is clicking pictures with shanvi as she is star of the evening. She looks mesmerizing in Indian “Lahanga choli “.  Suddenly she is noticing a tall handsome guy who is trying to be with her in every picture. Despite of his attractive appearance, she starts feeling uncomfortable. She is thinking that why no one except her noticing him in the group. Before that she goes to him and asked him to leave from the place, one of her cousin introduced her with this tall handsome guy who is a friend. He is samyak, 25 years old software engineer, got placed recently in a big company. That’s why he was there in every picture and no one objected. Hence the whole group of cousins became friends with Samyak. He was really friendly and helpful in nature. He has won everyone’s heart in the weeding including Shanvi.

After weeding, it started with adding samyak in their WhatsApp group of cousins. And then he becomes shanvi’s good friend too. They all use to spend weekends together at home. They usually watch movies together, eat dinner together.

It’s been 2 months now and both Shanvi and Samyak have known each other pretty well.  shanvi started noticing something different in everyone’s behavior. Nowadays her cousin’s started ditching her for movies and there is one person left who is Samyak.  For once she thought there must be some work that’s why her cousins didn’t showed up but then what samyak did, made her really shocked.

They had to go to the theatre for movie but before that Samyak take her to some other place. It’s the hall of his own house where shanvi is standing now. There are white and blue balloons everywhere and lily, rose petals on the floor. Shanvi is shocked as this decoration includes everything which is her favorite.   After few seconds Samyak comes in and goes on his knees with a ring in his hand. Shavni is shocked with his gesture. She don’t understand what’s happening there and suddenly she sees her cousins standing behind Samyak, holding these cards written over “say yes”.

Samyak asked her with smile on his face, “Will you marry me “?

She don’t know what to say at that moment, she wants to yell on this sudden behavior of everyone but says nothing and runs outside.

All the cousins send Samyak outside after her. He comes out and confesses his love again to her.

“Let me speak first, then you can decide what you want to do with this proposal. It’s been love at first sight when I saw you in the weeding, you were looking heavenly beautiful with that Indian outfit on still that innocence and childish behavior of yours around your family and cousins took my heart. I told about my feeling to my friend who is your cousin on that weeding day itself and he told me about you few more things that made me falling in love with you. Your cousin already warned me that if I am joking about my feeling than our friendship will end soon as he loves you a lot and don’t want to see you being fool in love. Then I asked him to give me some time to show my love towards you and to know you more. These last two months were best days of my life as I got to know that with you my whole life will going to change. I love your juvenile behavior as well as your discipline, your love for your family and friends as well as your concern for strange people. You are serious with every relation of yours whether it’s formal or casual. I love your sincerity and your laughter too. Even now after spending these two months with you I cannot imagine my days without you. “Said Samyak.

Shanvi gets teary eyes. She couldn’t control on her tears as inside her heart she too started liking him but there were other thing which was not in their favor. Before she could say anything he said “I know very well that we have age gap between us but it’s not big enough than my love for you. I will handle our parents and everything else only if you are with me. Please hold my hand forever and let me call you mine. “

This confession made everything beautiful and clear in front of her eyes. Shanvi is totally in love with this guy. She hugs him and cries a lot as she got what she always wanted in her life. She got the love of her life at this stage when she didn’t expected this to happen. It is overwhelming for her.

Suddenly she hears laughter behind her, she turns back and looks at all her cousins laughing at her and teasing her. She felt little shy and embarrassing but samyak takes her in his embrace and she blushes. They all laugh together. Everyone is happy for Samyak and Shanvi.

It’s been one month after their marriage and they are travelling the world together. The calm and sincere nature of Samyak made everyone happy from the parent’s side of shanvi and he got accepted as her groom. And no one can reject shanvi either as she is the gem of a person.  They are poles apart in nature still perfect together.
